My Life | 3 little words

Sometime when I look back, I can't figure out what got us here. It's all a blur. I feel like so much has happened. I've gone trough so much shit. I've been broken in so many pieces and yet I was able to pick myself up and fight. Fight for what I want. Fight for what makes me happy.

I remember thinking that I liked him, that I really liked him, and feeling like we could be perfect together. But I was holding back. I was always holding back. I didn't want to love him. He is a bad person. He never hid that from me. And oh yeah, he has made go trough hell on earth. But he told me something, once, that stuck with me. We said something that made me change my mind about what I wanted. He surly is the master of manipulation. But I assure you that I'm also very good at that game. And I've gone trough those words so many times and still today I don't know what to make of it.
We were having dinner at a restaurant with a bunch of friends. We were sitting across from each other. We were talking about me not wanting to drink to much because I didn't want to lose control and let all our co-workers know that were sleeping together. He said "You can do whatever you want. It doesn't matter. Because you and I, we are going to end up together". He din't have to say this. He said it because he meant it. Or maybe not. I was already sleeping with him, so he didn't say it just to get me in bed.

Four or five months have passed since that. And the other day, we had dinner in that same restaurant. Same friends and everything. And as soon as I entered the restaurant I heard his words echoing though my mind. The whole time we where in there I was just thinking that despite everything, I'm happy that I decided to go trough with it. I love him so much. And oddly or not, I've never loved a boy before. I've had other boyfriends, yeah sure, but I never loved any of them. I've never felt this before. I didn't even said 'I love you' to any other guy. I only want to say that to the love of my life. I've always avoid saying that word... And now, all I want to do is to say it.

EAT| Kokoro Ramen Bar, Lisbon

Guys, I have a new favorite restaurant. It's called Kokoro, it means heart in Japanese. They serve only one thing - ramen noodles. And they only have 3 options: pork, chicken or vegetarian noodles. That's it. It's a super small restaurant. Super cozy and friendly. It has 8 tables of 2. And always has a line at the door.  I've tried the chicken noodles, but I have to admit that the pork one is my favorite. And it's the one you are seeing in the picture here. The pork belly is cooked to perfection -- it literally melts in your mouth! The broth is rich and earthy and heart warming! On the table always have soy sauce and their chilly paste which is really good and really spicy! A coffee-spoon is more than enough to make you sweat! But it is totally worth it.

Adulthood Is A Myth // Sarah Andersen

I love random books. Coffee table books. Books that you can just flip trough when you are bored and that just make you laugh. This is one of these books. It's just a bunch of  small comics about this girl and her struggles in life. Funny, comic struggles that we all go trough.  It's funny and random.

You can see some of Sarah Andersen's work here. It's where I've first found out about her. I liked it so much, that I had to get the book! It's a cheap book -- I bought it on Amazon, I payed like 8$ + shipping. But it's totally worth it.

I know the KYLIE lippies fever has already passed, but I totally forgot I had this and that I wanted to show you. Looks legit right? Well, sorry to disappoint you but this is a fake! I bought it for 2$ on Dresslink. It works fine, and it's not obvious that it's a fake. You need to really know your shit and to look super closely to know that this is fake.

The shade I got is called  "Literally". And if you search on, it there's no matte liquid lipstick in this shade. They have tho, lip-gloss called literally. And mine it's a matte liquid lipstick -- fake alert!

The packaging tho, is pretty spot on. Although mine came with a stupid sticker glued on top, that ruins the box. The actual tube, it really close to the original -- at least from all the pictures I've seen online, I don't actually own an original one. I have no idea if the color is close to the original literally shade, but I love this shade. It is a brown-ish red, that looks super cool then it's all matte. It is not super sticky when you put it on, and one coat is more than enough. It dries super fast and it lasts on 4 or 5 hours, however it kinda looks weird when it starts to wear off.

Although this is a fake product, I really enjoy using it. It doesn't taste bad, it doesn't have a funky smell. I really like expensive products, and you know that I always prefer luxury products. But this is a fine product. I was scared I was going to get a crazy rash or some weird allergy, but no. It's fine.

I keep my make up brushes and sponges on an old Ferrero Rocher square box. Yes, these are all the make up brushes I own. And yes, they are all dirty and disgusting.

Review | LUSH Lip Service Lip Balm

One of the most classic Lush products is this lip balm - Lip Service. They have been selling it for over a decade and it's one of their bestsellers! It's a great product! And don't let the name fool you! One of the reasons this product is so popular is because it's not only great for you lips, but also for your heels, toes and cuticles! It's amazing! You can basically use it whenever you skin needs a little love. It has a very fresh, citric scent - I love it!

It comes in a super cute, small, round metal tin with a cute black label. I love anything that comes in a cute tin container!
This product is a little bit strange for me, it actually feels like a solid -- at least during winter. And you need to kinda warm it up with your finger. It feels a little bit waxy at first -- and to be honest for a moment I thought that this product was going to suck -- but after couple of uses it became so much creamier, easier to apply, and super moisturizing! It is not tinted, but it leaves a glossy finish on the lips, while the product skins in. It really leaves my lips soft, smooth and really hydrated. Because I have braces, my lips are always cracked. Always. And applying this balm two or tree times a day and right before going to bed really helps with this!

The only complaint I have tho, is that you apply it with your fingers. This means I have to touch the product with my dirty hands. It bothers me slightly, I'm not going to lye. But it hasn't stooped me from using it every single day.

Quick Tip #4 | Garnier Micellar Water

I know I'm late for the party and that everyone has already raved about this. But this Garnier micellar water is really, really good. I couldn't go by without saying anything.

My ultimate favorite is from Biafine but unfortunately it's not sold in Portugal. My runner up is from Bioderma but it's way too expensive specially for the rate that I go through each bottle.

I use it twice a day and it really helps cleaning and toning my skin. It's the cleaning part that I'm mostly interested. I wash my face with soap and water and then I get cotton-pad soaked in this product and I rub it all over my face. You should see how much yucky stuff comes off my face -- even when I've just washed it!

-- Please be nice and supportive and click on at least one of the pictures! I'd do the same for you. Thank you! --

My life | it's a mess, it's all a mess

Maybe there is something wrong with me.
It almost seems that I enjoy this little games we keep playing.
It almost seams that I like figuring out all the little lies, all the little details. And yeah, I love to solve puzzles. I hate to solve these puzzles.
My brain is working all the time. I enjoy watching people. And I've learned a lot from that. I notice everything. EVERYTHING. Every detail, every word misspoken, every subtil action, every micro-expression. And I hate this side of me. I hate that no one can hide anything from me. I'm not saying that I can figure out exactly what is going on, but I know when something smells fishy

I often get it right. He can't hide anything from me. For a while I just pretended I didn't notice. But not anymore.

I know he also has this skill. We think the same way. The funniest thing about this is that all the plans and the lies he comes up with, Are all things that could have come out of my own brain. That's why I figure it out so quickly. And he is able to do the same, I know. I lied once, and he saw right trough me.

Because of all this crap, I know he is the one for me. We are indeed soulmates. Birds of a feather. Fuck.

Review | LUSH Serendipity Soap

For while now I've been really into things that smell of lavender. I've always liked this sense. I don't know exactly what is about it, but whenever I smell it, it just makes me feel cozy, and clean! I feel clean whenever I shower with something that smells like lavender, it is kinda weird, I know.

Lavender is great, and it has a bunch of benefits to the skin! Lavender has antiseptic and anti-fungal properties, and is often used for treating yucky skin problems, it helps balancing the skin, helping to calm it, helping skin to regenerante and to properly heal. Supposedly, it helps acne, it strengthens hair, helps get rid of dandruff and oily hair. And, most importantly -- it smooths our cellulite! Lavender improves circulation, and prevents stretch marks and dispels fluid retention, thus helping with the appearance of cellulite!

So yeah, showering with a lavender-thingy every day sounds extremely beneficial! This is why this Lush soap has become one of my shower essentials! It's called Serendipity and it's a little slice of heaven. It smells so good. My whole bathroom smells like lavender, just from having this soap sitting around. It even has little lavender flowers mixed in, that fall in your bathtub as use the soap. I like to use a shower puff, thus I just rub the soap on my puff until it is full of foam and I wash my body with that. It lathers really nicely, creating a soft -- slightly purple -- foam. It is made with all fresh and natural ingredients, and I love it. I doesn't make my skin feel dry, but clean and tight. It's definitely my favorite.

Remember when I asked you for help... ?

Do you remember when I asked you for help, about the difficult decision of choosing a new perfume to buy?

Well, me being me, I bought one that wasn't on that list. I went shopping with my mom, and she ended up pushing me into this one - Chanel Chance Eau Tender. She said she thinks it's more sober but yet young. Honestly, I'm not sure I'm in love with this fragrance. Some times I smell it and I love it. Some times I smell it and I hate it. I'm wearing it for the first time today. Let's see how it goes. It's Chanel anyway. You can't go wrong with anything Chanel.

Review | liner.designer by beautyblender

After reading about this product on Elisa's blog, I had to run to Sephora to get it! This is exactly the type of things that I really enjoy trying out!

I suck at making any sort of straight-ish line. Really. I couldn't draw a straight line not even if my life depended on it. Much less, on my eyelids! I feel like I can't even  call my self a blogger since I can't really do my eyeliner or a winged eye! You girls have amazing skills that I do not own! So yeah,  you can see why I had to get it.

This is the Beauty Blender Liner Designer. It promises to help you perfectly make any line on your face. It's from Beauty Blender, so I was already expecting good things! Inside that pink cute box you have the device, a 5x mirror and a suction cup for you to stick your mirror anywhere, at eye level. The mirror is a cool addition. Specially because you are paying 16€ for a little piece of pink silicone.

It looks like a cute pink guitar pick, but its made a soft silicone that literately sticks to your face. The idea is that you use the edges as a template to draw the line. You put the thingy against your face, press it down so it sticks, and you can just follow the line. Sounds like magic! But does it work? Well, yes it works. But you do need to practice with it for a while... You still need a steady hand, or the line will look strange. But overall it's really helpful. Specially when it comes to making the wings match, it's much easier to get the length and angle right on both sides.

Is it worth the money? Well, to be honest, No. I don't think so. Since I bought it, I played around with it, got it to work, but honestly I only really used it once. It's not that practical, and I think that you pay too much for what you get. It's a cool gadget tho.

Review | Asian Foot Peel Mask from

This blog is also a place to talk about gross things right? Right... A few months ago I've received some peeling foot masks from Dresslink... I was super curious about trying something like this! I'd seen it all over the internet, and I was super excited when I laid my hands on these!

Yes, you red correctly --- peeling foot masks. These masks promise to make old skin magically fall off about a week after you apply the solution. In turn, baby-fresh skin is revealed and all that nasty, dry, dirty, rough and gritty skin is no more!  I have been kinda scared of trying them out. But I finally did it and I'm going to share with you my experience.

I'm not sure I did everything correctly because, you know, everything is in Chinese. But I did my best.

When you open the package, you find inside two plastic socks filled up with some weird liquid. You open these up, you stick your feet in it, put a sock over and you leave it in for around an hour.

The liquid smells like alcohol, or some sort of disinfectant. It doesn't hurt at all, it just feels cold and squishy. You can definitely walk around the house with these on your feet.

During the days after, me feet felt really dry and one week later the skin started to come off! It's crazy! You are not supposed to peel it off -- although it is incredibly satisfying to remove chunks of dead skin from you feet! After a few days all the skin of my feet had fell and they felt amazingly soft! Even the skin around my toes came off! It's strange and amazing at the same time! It took a while for all the skin to fall off, but when it did, my feet felt super nice and smooth!

I did some research: I was worried about what kind of chemicals were in this thing -- the ingredients are all in Chinese! But apparently it's some flesh eating enzymes. Completely harmless and safe!
I just want to warn you that your feet will be peeling off during a few weeks, so don't do this if you are expecting nice sandals next weekend!

How to become Alice

Alice in Wonderland was always one of my favorite movies growing up. The simple, brilliant concept of a child finding a portal to another world, is just amazing. Who wound't want to find a magic world, filled with magic creatures, tea-parties and a crazy Mad Hatter?
I've chosen a nice white and blue dress, and a few accessories that go with it, that I think all have subtle references to the character! What do you think?

Review | GLAMGLOW PowerMud face mask

If by now you haven't heard about Glamglow and their amazing face-masks, I don't know what planet you live in. All social media has been completely flooded with pictures and videos of people using Glamglow products, specially their GravityMud peel off silver face mask! I decided that was time for me to try out one of these masks, and let me tell you -- I was not disappointed!

When I went to the store to get it, I had my mind set on the GravityMud . But while talking to the beauty consultant there, she advised me to get this one instead, as it is the best suited for younger skins. And basically what my skin really needs is a cleansing mask.

The packaging is simple but with a very luxurious feeling about it. You have to fiddle a bit with the box until you actually get to the pot. It's cool. It calls you sexy. It's a cool detail.

When I took these pictures, I had used this mask three times, and as you can see there is still a lot of product, so I think that despite being an expensive product -- I got it for around 50€ -- you get your money worth.

It's a mud mask, so the consistency of the product is quite interesting. Very very soft, wet and cold, with some little granules of something. You are supposed to apply it all over your face - avoiding the outline of the eyes - wait about 20 minutes, or until it is fully dry. Then clean it thoroughly with a cloth and lukewarm water, using a circular motion to promote some exfoliation.

I'm loving this mask! It makes me feel super clean, it feels really good on the skin! The smell is amazing! It's almost like a home spa treatment! Really really good. Totally worth the money.

My life | 2017 sucks so far

January was a hard month for me. It was truly horrible. I had tones of work. We broke up, we got back together, I lied. He lied. He argued. I had to go trough the most anguishing situation of my life! It was so bad. It was the worst thing I've ever had to go trough. And I've been trough some rough shit. I was feeling like crap for like 3 weeks: I was only able to sleep two or three hours a night. I wasn't eating anything. Because of all the stress, I literally had a knot on my stomach, I could't really eat anything. And when I ate, I'd trow up everything because of the anxiety. I was a nerve-rack. I was throwing up every morning, right after getting out of bed. It got to a point where I was already throwing up blood -- I think I was getting an ulcer or something like that. It was really really bad for me.

Now things are better. We are better. Not perfect. Better. I've told him that I think he is my soulmate. That helped. He is expecting me to say "I love you" -- When I go to sleep I often  text him "Goodnight, ily" and he said that that doesn't work. That I have to say it like I mean it. Well, I think he really wants to be with me. But I still have bad dreams about this whole situation. I wake up in the middle of the night, crying almost, with my heart pounding like I'm about to have a heart attack. And this happens like once a week, so yeah, my anxiety levels are still trough the roof. I never felt anything more anguishing in my live. I've had other boyfriends. I've had my hear broken many times. I've felt disappointment before. But usually this type of things don't affect me like this. I've always been very relaxed about this sort of things

Millybridal UK | Two Pieces Wedding Dresses

I've talk here on the blog how I've never really wanted a big -- princess like -- wedding. It's not my thing. I don't even think I want to get married. It's a waste of money. You have to pay for the church, you have to pay for the food and catering, flowers, and everything else. I know, I know, it's a celebration of love and commitment, but can't we have all that without having to spend all that money ?

Anyway, If I ever get married, I want to have a super cool, edgy, unique wedding! I want a fun wedding, with 80's music, people dancing and having fun, out-doors in a place where we can see an awesome sunset. And for that I'd need a cool and fun dress! I think it would be cool to wear a *two-piece* dress! They are trending, and fun, and they don't seem so restraining and uncomfortable.

While browsing trough Millybridal UK I've found a few that fit my requirements. They offer a huge range of weeding dresses -- Wedding Dresses UK -- and of course they have a few two-piece ones. And they are dirt cheap! I feel like I could dance all night in any of these!
